It’s in a neutral place, but with a slight edge toward a candidate-driven market.
Here’s why: We’re no longer in the wild hiring frenzy of 2021-2022, but we’re also not seeing the massive layoffs of 2023-2024
While some organizations are still trimming, they are still hiring. Today, companies are all about quality over quantity. While companies are cautious, so is top talent!
No one wants to make a move that could lead them into a bad situation, which is creating a longer hiring cycle. Some of you may be noticing this, whether you are hiring or exploring your options.
📈 Current Hiring Needs: Sales & Marketing
🔵 Sales: New logo acquisition and expansion within accounts are top priorities with a focus around the SLED market.
🟣 Marketing: Focus around Demenad Gen & Field/Partner marketing
👉 Current Market Challenges: Compensation is a major pain point. Companies are having to offer higher salaries to secure top talent, even in markets where the cost of living is not as high, such as states like –> Texas, Florida, Nashville, Denver, Arizona, etc.
💼 The Big Questions companies need to figure out:
How many days a week does your talent need to be in the office?
Can the role be remote and still keep the company culture intact?
What do we pay the talent?
