As we are all witnessing, the world of sales continues to shift in favor of a more virtual sales model, which seems to be also shifting sales leadership.
While many of the same ideologies will be used moving forward when leading a sales team, the tactics in which they are being applied will be different.
Take a sales rep on a prospecting call, or client visit. What use to be done in person
by the sales rep will most likely be done virtually, or heading that direction at some point in the very near future. How we go to coach a sales rep, will also be different.
As they say nothing will replace the in person experience when leading a team, at least not any time soon, but times are changing and we have to adapt to those changes.
